All official World Cup 2026 tickets are sold exclusively through FIFA.com/tickets. FIFA operates a ballot system for high-demand matches — you apply during sales windows and are randomly selected. Group stage tickets for less prominent matches (non-USA, non-Brazil, non-host nation games) are often available in later sale phases without a ballot. The Final, semi-finals and host nation matches all require ballot entry.
The FIFA ticket application process requires creating a FIFA account, verifying your identity, and linking a valid payment method before applying for tickets. Applications can be submitted during officially announced sales windows only. Late applications go into a waitlist that is occasionally activated when cancelled tickets are returned. Set FIFA.com calendar alerts for the official sales window announcements well before the tournament.
