How to Get to and From Every Stadium
🚉Train / Rail (Best Option)
Where available — MetLife (NJ Transit), Seattle (Link Light Rail), Philadelphia (SEPTA) — train is always the superior option. No parking, no Uber surge, no traffic delays post-match.
🚌Official FIFA Shuttles
FIFA operates official shuttle bus services from city centres and fan zones to all 16 stadiums. Purchased via the FIFA ticket platform. Most reliable matchday transport option for most venues.
🚗Car / Rideshare
Uber and Lyft surge to 3–8x at stadium zones immediately after matches. Pre-book Uber for pickup outside the surge zone (15–20 minute walk). Driving yourself: most stadiums have large parking complexes at $40–80.
🛫Domestic Flights
For inter-city travel between matches in different host cities. Book early — prices will spike dramatically during the tournament. Southwest and JetBlue offer the most flexible policies.

How to Reach Each Venue
MetLife (NJ/NY)
NJ Transit from Penn Station (35 min, $20 round trip). Most convenient from Midtown Manhattan. No direct subway — must go via NJ Transit or official shuttle.
AT&T Stadium (Dallas)
No direct rail. Official shuttle from Dallas Union Station recommended. Car/rideshare from Downtown Dallas is 25 minutes without traffic — double that post-match.
SoFi Stadium (LA)
Metro K Line directly to stadium. Fastest option. Rideshare from Downtown LA is 25 minutes pre-match, 60–90 minutes post-match due to traffic. Metro strongly recommended.
Estadio Azteca (Mexico City)
Metro Line 2 to Tasqueña, then Tren Ligero to Estadio Azteca. Cheapest and most reliable option. Use CDMX metro app for real-time updates.
BC Place (Vancouver)
SkyTrain Stadium-Chinatown station is directly adjacent. Walk time: 5 minutes. Vancouver has the easiest stadium access of all 16 venues.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta)
MARTA Red/Gold Line to GWCC/World Congress Center. 10-minute walk to stadium. Most reliable option — traffic in downtown Atlanta on match days is severe.

Key Advice
The Golden Rule of World Cup Transport
Leave the stadium early if your team has won convincingly and the match becomes a foregone conclusion in the second half — or stay until the very end and wait 45 minutes for the crowd to thin before attempting transport. The worst scenario is trying to get an Uber or navigate to a train station in the peak 15 minutes immediately after the final whistle. Either beat the crowd or outlast it.
For all 16 venues, download the official FIFA matchday transport app before the tournament. This will have real-time updates, shuttle locations, and alternative route suggestions if the primary transport option fails. Official FIFA shuttles are the most reliable option in venues with poor public transport connectivity — Dallas, Houston and Arlington in particular rely almost entirely on shuttle and car access.
